For the second year in a row Blue House Photography took a vacation and Delia and Luke spent Memorial Weekend backpacking with some friends in West Elk Wilderness. The Wilderness is in west-central Colorado between Gunnison to the south, Aspen to the east, and Glenwood Springs to the north. The siblings spent their weekend hiking, relaxing, and enjoying their time off. Hope you enjoy some of the photos.
Lost Creek Wilderness is one of our favorite places to camp. It's not too far from Denver, but is a great place to get away and not see throngs of other weekend warriors. We camped and hiked last Saturday with some good friends and took in the end of the Aspen colors. Enjoy!
We went camping last weekend at Lost Creek Wilderness. Summer is finally here, so Blue House Photography has been trying to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather as much as possible. Only as soon as we got to our campsite, it started to rain. Then it started to hail (for about an hour and half...) It finally stopped, but soon started to rain and hail again. When it did finally stop for good, the sun came out, we got to see a beautiful double rainbow and some really great light for photos. So, I guess it was worth it! Hope you enjoy! --DP
Luke and Delia Palmisano, siblings, formed Blue House Photography in 2005. They work together as a team to capture fleeting moments that mark their photo-journalistic style. They cover a wide variety of events, such as weddings, news, commercial shots and candid portraits. Delia and Luke also enjoy looking through the lense as they travel and often exhibit their work at Denver area fine art galleries.
